As you know Pastor Aringo has been looking after our office in Nairobi for many years now for which we are very grateful. Due to personal circumstances, Pastor Aringo is taking a break from the work of Feed my Lambs as from this week. This will initially be for a few months and then his situation will be reviewed. We continue to be in contact with Pastor Aringo and assure him and his family of our prayers in these days. Meanwhile, our office is still being looked after and the work is continuing. The office can be reached on 0727 798115 or email us for more help. We ask you to pray much for Eunice and others who may assist in the office in the coming days that they will know the Lord's help and guidance in this responsible role. We have had another busy week. Today I met with a couple who brought us a lot of knitted items from a knitting group in their Church. They also brought us some children's clothes. We appreciate so much the generosity of so many people. The photos show just two of the blankets received and there are many more. I am sure you will agree they are just lovely and will certainly be appreciated in Africa. I also went today to view a room which we are considering for an event later in the year. I am a little undecided as to whether it would be suitable or not. A second opinion definitely needed from my husband! We are also arranging to view a few others. Pray that we will know exactly which place is right for which event.
We have been discussing a lot of new ideas and ventures over recent weeks for both Africa and here in Northern Ireland. They are still in the planning stage and being prayed over, but we hope we will soon be able to share some news with you once we have the green light. Also, at long last I have today been able to transfer some funds for the purchase of some Bibles in Uganda. We are obtaining these from a new supplier and there has been some difficulties and confusion over exchange rates, bank charges and transportation costs etc. We have sent just some funds today in order to see how it all works out. They are reasonably priced so hopefully it will be straightforward. We have a rough idea of how many Bibles we will receive, but we will let you know the final number once they have received the funds and confirmed that there are no additional charges. We are excited about this. These particular Bibles will go to children in Uganda. Thank you for praying for this ongoing need.
