AN ENCOURAGING CONTACT

Thank you for your continued prayers.  Our blog is a little later this week due to having a few days out of the office over the holiday period.  William enjoyed the opportunity to do some work at our home though there is still lots more to do!  We have been advised by an electrician that the house needs totally rewired.  This would be a huge task and on this personal note we ask for your prayers for the way ahead.   I enjoyed a few days with my youngest nephew before he went back to school.  We are always thanking God for His help in the work and for our co-workers...but we are also thankful for each other, a happy marriage and a home to call our own.

Back to the work of God.  There has been a lot of marking in the Nairobi office this past week.  In particular these have been lessons from an area called Kericho in Kenya.  This is an area we have visited and we have numerous children there enrolled on our course.  Please pray for them. 

In Uganda; after a period of illness, Joyce has been hoping to travel to a number of different schools and Churches this week where the children are using our lessons.  Pray for her as she meets with them again.

We have once again been discussing how we can bring in more income in Kenya and Uganda themselves rather than all funds having to come from UK.  We ask for your ongoing prayers for this issue.

We are excited that we have finally managed to get in direct contact with a CEF worker in Kenya.  We have tried this many times and have never been successful.  This particular worker ministers in an area of Kenya we have a particular burden for.  We have enjoyed chatting with him and look forward to partnering with him in the future in reaching the boys and girls with the Gospel.

Please pray on for each child we are reaching, for each part of the ministry, for each centre we have contact with and for the days ahead ministering for our Saviour.
