We are delighted that we have arrived safely in Kenya. The Lord has really been helping us and we thank Him for His goodness to us.
So far we have visted 2 schools, 1 Church and 1 Sunday School and have enjoyed teaching the Christmas story to the children. We have received a warm welcome. We were challenged when we visited a school in a slum area and found many children who had been rescued from a life on the nearby rubbish tip. It was in this slum area that many were killed and injured a few months ago due to a pipeline accident. Our search for a new office continues. We were delighted with the coverage of our Anniversary Meeting in our local newspaper here in Portadown this weekend. The article gave a clear insight into our special meeting as well as into the work of Feed My Lambs in general. The CD was also well promoted with a photo of the cover being included along with a photo of the congregation at the meeting and one of myself, dad, William and a special little visitor who joined with us that evening.
Never before have we had so many people comment to us about an article concerning the work and we are delighted to have had new customers at the stall as a result of seeing the coverage in the paper. We thank God for evey opportunity to share His work and for the open doors He has given us. Please continue to pray for the work in Kenya and all of the needs we have. Remember the students on the email course as Assignment 4 will be sent out in the next few days. Remember Pastor Aringo and the other team members as they continue to work with us. They all need your prayers as they labour among the children. We are thankful for some new bookings which have come in for meetings in the New Year and we would like to remind you that we are happy to come and share of our work in your Church or House meeting or School, here in Northern Ireland or in Kenya. Please keep praying that God will lead, guide and provide every financial need we have in these days. |
