CONSIDERING SUPPORTING A PROJECT??
Thank you for taking the time to consider supporting one of the projects featured in our online directory. Before you do so, there are some things we would like you to know.
All projects featured are independent organisations and are not run by, or ministries of, Feed my Lambs.
Each project must submit an application form and be approved by Feed my Lambs before being included in the online directory.
Any accepted project must be bringing the Gospel to children. Either directly themselves, or allowing FML to do this via our Bible Lessons or other ministry.
FML accepts or declines projects based on the application submitted and any other information known. We do not research the projects and are therefore not responsible for false information provided or contained in the profiles.
FML tries as far as possible to ensure that any project featured is being true to their application in their activities. We reserve the right to remove immediately any project which we find to be lacking in this regard or to be against Scripture in their activities. However, whilst a project may have been accepted for inclusion on our website directory; we do not automatically endorse every method they use to share the Gospel, their doctrine or teachings.
Guidelines and terms of use are issued to each project before application. By submitting their application and subsequent profile, the project is accepting and agreeing to our terms of use. Each profile is prepared by the project themselves and not by Feed my Lambs. We merely upload it to the website. Each project is also responsible for forwarding any updates or amendments.
FML and it's workers, will not, at any time, be held responsible for the actions of any individuals or projects listed in our directory.
We strongly advise that you research the project thoroughly yourself before making a financial donation to the project.
Feed my Lambs accept donations through the website on behalf of projects and as per the terms of use agreed with the project, we will forward donations on to the project. We are not responsible for the distribution of such donations and cannot be held liable for the misuse of any funds. It is the donor's responsibility to follow this up directly with the project if they have any questions.
As agreed by each accepted project. Feed my Lambs will receive 5% of any donation made.
The Donate button on our home page or ways to help page direct funds in their entirety to Feed my Lambs. To donate to a specific project you must use the donate button directly under their profile.
When a donation is received, Feed my Lambs will notify the project concerned and forward the paypal notification to them. Please note that this may contain your email address and/or postal address. If you specifically wish to remain anonymous, please state this on the review page of your donation under "add special instructions to the seller". By clicking on this you will be able to state that you wish to remain anonymous. Feed my Lambs will do their best to adhere to this request, however, we cannot guarantee that this will be the case and in donating you must be prepared that your name, address and email details may be forwarded to the project you are donating to.
It will be the responsibility of the project to contact you to thank you for your donation or to forward a receipt. If you have not received such communication and wish to do so, please contact the project directly. On occasions FML may acknowledge a donation by email, but this is not guaranteed.
Feed my Lambs will forward the donation to the project. On occasions the project may decide to wait until they have further donations and receive them in bulk. This is their right to do so.
Please note that due to different cultures, some projects may add your email address to their mailing list without asking you. It is your responsibility to let them know if you do not wish this to happen. You must notify the project directly by using the contact details given and not Feed my Lambs.
Please also be aware that some cultures have no difficulty in asking for money directly for various needs. We strongly recommend that you investigate the need before responding in this way and also advise that you donate via the profile page rather than directly to the project by moneygram etc. This way you can be sure that it goes from us to the person designated by the project rather than to someone who may be simply claiming to be from the project.
Feed my Lambs strongly recommends to projects that child sponsorship is not included in their requests on their profile. This is for child protection reasons. If you decide to sponsor a child this will be directly with the project and FML will not be involved.
In the unlikely event that you feel a project, or person associated with a project is acting inappropriately, you may, in an extreme case wish to contact us. We will consider the situation but do not guarantee to become involved or remove them from our website. This will be a decision for Feed my Lambs.
Feed my Lambs recommends that you think very carefully before accepting friend requests on Facebook from people involved in projects. We also urge caution in relation to personal contact and sharing of personal information.
Feed my Lambs is primarily assisting the project by hosting it's profile on our website and by forwarding any donations and do not accept any responsibility for any other matter pertaining to the relationship between yourself and a project and it's representatives.
Please remember that English may not be the first language of the people who have compiled the profiles. Feed my Lambs endeavours to correct and amend any grammatical or layout issues as far as possible, but time restraints sometimes do not allow us to do this. Please make allowances for this when viewing a profile.
If you wish to send any items to projects mentioned (such as pencils etc.) we will do our best to help you with this but FML cannot guarantee to transport these for you and it is preferred that you send these directly to the project. FML cannot incur any financial costs in this regard. We are happy to advise you on what items may be good to include and what items are better omitted. We encourage you to contact us for advice on this.
