July 2008 - We are so thankful to God for 61 people who attended Child Evangelism Training in a rural area about 1 hours drive from Kisii town. The seminar was held over 3 days and was attended by a mixture of men and women consisting of Pastors, Sunday School Teachers and Children's workers. A sincere thank you to the Pastor and leadership of the Church for the invitation to teach. It was encouraging to see so many different churches and denominations represented....all with the same desire of reaching children with the Gospel.
At the end of the training, FML certificates were presented and the students also received teaching materials. These consisted of Wordless books, flashcards containing 20 visualised Bible lessons for children and also a practical book to help teachers with some of the many issues they face when working amongst boys and girls.

As seen below, we also had opportunity to present teaching materials to Pastors and children's workers in Nakuru. The photo shows some of those who received the packs along with Pamela and FML representative for Nakuru, Joyce.
July 2007 - Once again the Child Evangelism course was held in Nairobi. A good number attended and received a manual and certificate. We pray that the Lord would use them as they seek to reach out to the children in their locality.
The Child Development Course was also conducted in Nairobi during Pamela's visit in July 2007. Many questions were asked as the students showed great interest in this very practical subject.
For the first time, FML Information Seminars were held. These took place in Nakuru and Kisii. The meetings gave opportunity for Pastors and Children's Workers to join together for fellowship and to learn about the work and vision of FML. We were able to explain in more detail the courses which are on offer to both adults and children and how those attending could become directly involved in the ministry. We pray that the seed which was sown will bring forth much fruit for the Glory of God. The pictures below show some of those who attended the Nakuru seminar.
December 2006 - A one day training seminar on the subject of Child Protection was held. A brief overview was given of the different types of abuse and ways of helping children who have been effected by such abuse.
July 2006 - Feed My Lambs; with Pamela Mann as the tutor; hosted a week long Child Evangelism training seminar in Nairobi. Some of the subjects covered were: The Biblical Basis of Child Evangelism, Teaching a Bible Lesson, Other Methods of Teaching, Counselling a Child for Salvation, Discipline and Programme Planning.

Anyone who attends training automatically becomes part of the FML network. This gives opportunity to attend follow up meetings, be kept up to date with future training and also avail of opportunities to work directly with children.
